The Comment History tab contains links to comments made by other public users and consultees against this phase of the document.

Note: If the local authority has elected not to make comments and contributions visible for the document, a note is displayed to this effect.

Viewing comments made by other users

To view comments made by other users:

1. On the Comment History tab, click the Comments button. The Comments Overview page opens, displaying the following details for each comment:

   Document Ref	The unique reference allocated to the LDF document.
   Comment Type	The type of comment made by the contributor.
   Date Comment Submitted	The date the contributor submitted the comment.
   Comment On	Whether the comment was on a document or on a policy within a document.
   Comment By	The person who made the comment.
   Comment Source	Whether the contributor was a consultee or member of the public.

2. Click the View arrow button to view details of the comment. In addition to the above, the following details are displayed:

   Comment Reference	The unique reference allocated to the comment.
   Section Title and Number	The title and number of the section of the document that the comment refers to.
   Chapter Title and Number	The title and number of the chapter that the comment refers to.
   Heading Title and Number	The title and number of the heading that the comment refers to.
   Paragraph Title and Number	The title and number of the paragraph that the comment refers to.
   Comments	The comment itself.
   Comment Response	The local authority's response to the comment, if available.

3. Click Close Window to return to the Comments Overview page.
